The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has updated its longest-running crash test protocol, the moderate overlap front evaluation, to address a growing gap in protection provided for front and rear occupants. XSENSOR’s High-Speed Impact system was used as part of this protocol update to record belt position on ATDs.
